Player's Clinic a Smashing Success

Some 70 people came to take lessons from Sue Aery and Jay Bailey on Sunday at the beautiful Cherokee Town Club paddle venue. Players participating were a delightful mix of men and women, young and old, first timers and veterans along with some AA1 caliber tennis players, trying their hand at paddle. The day began with a session taught by Sue for the women's Presidents Cup squad, a group who will compete on Long Island in March at the Nationals, followed by parallel sessions for groups of 4-6 players on both courts. Food, fun, refreshments and plenty of sunshine made for a great day of paddle.
