Naming Contest - East Cobb's New "Whale Bar" - what to call it???
Check out the bar that Mark built & help him pick a name...winner gets a season of fun!
And...it's right next door to the newest Platform Tennis venue in Atlanta, the East Cobb Paddle Club built by Bob Stratton & Mark Morneau.
Mark's new man cave is fabulous (and women are allowed too).
However, he needs a name in keeping with the fine tradition of Steve Gareleck's "Whale Bar" (pictured below) in Sandy Springs next to his court.
So help Mark pick a great name to go with the great space and he'll make it worth your while.
...xtra credit (and further fun) if you can match the name with a suitable wall decoration...
1st entry - "Shark Tank" - with hammer head shark on the wall - Peter Lauer
2nd entry - "The Paddle Saddle" -- mount a handsome Western saddle behind the bar accompanied by a brace of crossed paddles! Lends itself to all kinds of energized promotions like "get in the saddle with paddle" and "saddle up with paddle" - Phil Curtis
3rd entries - "Barietta", "Whale Shark Bar" (poking the Sandy Springs original), or "Cobb Paddle Pub" - Dan Kennedy
4th entry - "The Nick Pub" (nick is the paddle term for a ball hitting the corner screen) - Allen Nelson
5th entry - "Sky Bar" or "Sky Lounge" - (cause I own the joint) - Mark Morneau
6th entry - "Second Serve"..prohibited on the court but welcomed in the hut! - Scott Honig
7th entry - "The Washington Square Pub" - after the place the sport began - Ed Forsberg
8th entry - “The Paddle Bar” - One wall with a canoe on it and another with crossed oars - Chris Sylvester
...what's yours???
...ATLANTA PADDLE ROCKS!!!
