Windward Lake Club Adding 2 Paddle Courts!!!!!!

Dateline Alpharetta...Dave Power, Co-Owner and General Manager of the Windward Lake Club in Alpharetta, GA has just confirmed that the rumors are true!!!...

"Windward Lake Club will be adding two Paddle Tennis courts to their sports complex this fall. We are committed to making Paddle a growth sport in the North Atlanta area. We want to expand the core group of charter players and add new players. We will be organizing clinics, leagues, socials. exhibitions, and tournaments. We will also be hosting Peachtree Platform League matches during the winter season. We look forward to being a major catalyst for Paddle Tennis for Region VII of the APTA."

The Windward Lake project is aided by a Generous grant from the American Platform Tennis Association (APTA), who's new President, Rob Coster remarked...

"The growth of Platform Tennis in recent years has been remarkable, and particularly in the South where not long ago paddle (the casual name for platform tennis) was barely known.  From Virginia to Florida, paddle is growing, with Atlanta quickly becoming the Southern hub.  The APTA is pleased to support this growth and capitalize on the enthusiasm of people like Dave Power"
