Cherokee Wins the Cup - First Time Ever!

57 Peachtree Paddle League members representing 11 teams around Atlanta competed on Saturday Feb 22nd in the 9th annual League Championship event.

Lifetime Athletic in Norcross played host with Cherokee Town Club & Windward Lake Club (last year's winner) as co-hosts. Robert Watkins and his team, which included Robert Shuford, Erik Becker, Carolyn Shiverick, Lang Adler & Rob Chapdelaine, ran a terrific event, which included 7 round robin flights of matches running throughout the day and culminating in the championship flight at Lifetime followed by cocktails and awards. Many thanks to Matt Sallerson, the newly appointed head of platform tennis activities at Lifetime, for rolling out the red carpet at their beautiful new club.
