BITSY GRANT UPDATE 10/07/14 - DONATION TIME - Let's Get this DONE!

The mission of Peachtree Paddle is to grow this great sport in the Atlanta area.  Though we’ve made great progress, missing UNTIL NOW has been publicly accessible courts.  After two years of effort, we are pleased to announce we have received all necessary approvals from the City of Atlanta  to build three paddle courts and a warming hut at the Bitsy Grant Tennis Center.  We are currently in the permitting process.  Timing of completion will depend upon how long the permitting process takes.  The facility will be operated by Universal Tennis Academy (UTA).  UTA’s leadership team are enthusiastic paddle players and are excited to offer paddle programming at Bitsy Grant.

NOW OUR EFFORTS TURN TOWARD FUNDRAISING & WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!

This project will be funded almost entirely from private donations.  Cost for three courts and a warming hut are expected to be $400,000.  We have raised $70,000 before going public with the campaign through private donations and an APTA grant. More importantly, we have received a matching gift offer - once we raise the first $200,000, a donor will match that gift with an additional $200,000.  

We are seeking TAX DEDUCTIBLE Leadership Gifts, however, we appreciate donations of any amount.

• $2,500 - 1 already received
• $1,000 - 1 already received
• $500 - 1 already received
